They should have error and &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;omissions&lt;/span&gt; and general liability insurance.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Ask for &lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;references&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;Talk to your real estate agent for a list of inspectors in your area.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;He or She should be a member of InterNACHI or CAPHI &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;They should be able to answer your questions clearly without talking"Over your Head"&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;What kind of expeirance do they have?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;What other credentials do they have? I.E: Engineer, Carpenter Etc.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;How long will the inspection take? It should take 2.5 to 4 hours to complete the inspection.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected"&gt;The last question that you should ask is " What do you charge". Although this is important, if all you really want to know is the price then you really are not looking for a good inspector but a cheap one.
